There are many factors that affect the Sackville River Watershed. Damage and Pollution are major factors that the Sackville Rivers Association tries to mitigate. Factors such as urbanization, acid rain and silt have major impacts on the river. Through restoration work, river cleanups and efforts to affect public policy the SRA attempts to lower the impact that these issues have on the watershed.
